Renaissance BallJoin the Society for Creative Anachronism for an evening of dancing and revelry, straight from the courts of Renaissance Italy! There will be dancing from 7pm, a light supper, medieval games of chance and strategy, and fun for all. The dances will be chosen on the night by those attending the ball. Some you'll need to have practised in advance, some will be fine to just join in. If you'd like to learn some Renaissance dances in advance, you would be very welcome at Katherine's Thursday-night classes. Winter WarmUpA non-stop extravaganza of beautiful performances, all-in revelling ,and on-demand Danish food. This year starring the amazing Croatian dancers & musicians, their director from “Lado” of Zagreb! Mulled wine at 6pm, then soon into the dancing. Bar open. Entry a gold coin. Raffle. International Dance WorkshopA workshop will be held at Danish House on the day of the Winter WarmUp. Andre van de Plas’ new repertoire will be flown out to us in time for a panel of our teachers to browse them and prepare to present a selection.
