Workshop to help you with organising your programmes and events.

An essential course for organisers of community recreation programmes and events. $30 voluntary organisations, $50 business or government organisation. Next workshop 7 April 9 - 12. For more information contact Esther (see below).

Cost: $10.00 adults, $5.00 school children/unwaged, $25.00 family discount; contribution for shared supper. Season tickets also available.

Polish Folk Dance Workshop

Venue: The Polish House, 257 Riddiford St, Newtown

Cost: Free

Polish Folk Dance consists of an interesting and diverse range of national and regional dances. Every dance has its own style of music and movement and they are performed in colourful costumes to enhance the spectacle of the dances and express the diversity of each cultural region in Poland.

This workshop will be run in two parts and is designed to provide you with an introduction to Polish Folk Dance. It is suitable for beginners through to experienced dancers as well as dancers of Classical, Latin American, Rock’n’Roll and other forms of dance who would like to experience and learn a unique style of dance.
