FDNZ are delighted with the number of community dancing groups sharing in our initiatives.  It is hoped that people from many communities will find this publication a worthwhile vehicle to share their experiences and enjoy the sharing of like-minded others.

Long-term Vision

Ultimately we desire to fill a hole in the country's cultural archive: documentation of the development of folkloric and community dance here in Aotearoa New Zealand. For that reason this publication is submitted to the National Library archives for future dancers and researchers to learn of our achievements.
